In 1844, German Bankers Herman and August Upmann traveled to Cuba to open a branch for their family bank. Soon after, they discovered their passion for cigars: a passion that led them to found their own cigar brand. They created an exceptionally unique cigar and locked it away only to be gifted to their bank's most special clients.
