A Dark and Rich variation on a "Codger Burley", F.U.S.T.G! combines a base of house toasted granular-cut White and Dark Burley with a small amount of Red Virginia and a whisper of St. James Perique! Notes of Chocolate, nuts, raisin and earth reign supreme in this easy burning medium to medium-full strength mixture!
Once again faced with the loss of yet another American tobacco manufacturer (this time, the 180 year old Sutliff Tobacco), the shop-blending industry faces a choice- stand stubbornly on the deck of tradition and go down with the ship, or accept the challenge head-on and weather the storm. With this first post-Sutliff blend, we have decidedly chosen the latter. The first of many new blends to come! While many look at these losses as the death of the "Golden Age of Pipe Tobacco", we're excited to do what we do best- Continue to make great blends.
