Wow. Full of funky, old musty hay. Sweet, rich, will not bite under any circumstances. VERY hard to keep lit, but just make peace with it. Very easy to over pack and over dry, so be judicious. You should buy some. As many have said, check the tin for the love of Pete. Mine popped right open with my finger.

In my opinion this is by far one of the best for Virginia flakes available. The stuff ages as good as any other tobacco I know I highly recommend anybody you hadn’t had it tried

250g bag, wet, as expected. After drying it turns to rock like pellets that are still very hard to burn. Rather annoying to deal with. Very hard to get lit. Once lit, it's fine. Must be careful of tongue bite if you puff too much. Flavour is interesting. I get not much sweetness, but of old, dank, fermented, dark leather. It's leather all the way. I like it and it annoys me at the same time. I most likely will not buy again, but can see myself missing it when its gone. Do not buy this if prefer an easy, out of the tin smoke. Flake tobacco is a pain in the ass. This is my first and most likely my last straight virginia unless I can find something good in a ribbon I much prefer the ease and consistency of something like navy rolls or Elizabethan.
