Deep Elem was our first blend. Made from a recipe given to me by Mary McNeil of McClelland tobacco, Deep Elem paved the way for every Watch City blend! It was sadly discontinued in 2019 when our stash of McClelland 805 Carolina Deluxe ran out.
Included in a collection of perfectly cellared bulk tobacco we recently purchased were several large mason jars of McClelland 805 from 1992!!..Enough to make a very limited amount of Deep Elem to the original formula! We're severely enforcing a 2oz pouch limit on this blend.
Deep Elem is a soft blend of Carolina Cavendish, Bright Virginia Ribbon and a good measure of Cyprian Latakia. Not typical hybrid English-Aromatic, rather a sweeter version of a mild English.
