A classical English mixture done in the "old style" of many of the fine tobaccos that have now disappeared from the market place. Choice Orientals and generous quantities of premium Cyprian latakia keynote this rich, full bodied blend. A well balanced, robust and eminently satisfying smoke.
As with all Esoterica Blends; this one is a Cracker! Always difficult to get, but well worth it when you do. Watch City has come through on more than one occasion. Wonderful, full bodied smoke for the English Lover.
I think the top review at tobacco reviews is accurate. It’s a mellower Penzance. It a a great all around blend. I’ve only had 2 bowls so can’t get into much detail quite yet.
Has to be the most perfect English out there in my opinion. Love the shag cut. Balanced classic English tin aroma. Not too much latakia. Kind of unusual, dank, aged smells. Nice and smokey taste yet not too overpowering. Can still pick up the sweetness coming through. If only these blends were easier to get :(
