F.U.S.T.G! (Fired Up & Set To Go!)

FUSTG is a welcome alternative to many of the standard codger blends, i.e., Prince Albert, Borkum Riff, etc. It is also a great alternative to the more PPG laden blends like Lane 1Q. The proportions of burley, virginia, and perique produce a very balanced smoke that may lack complexity but that is precisely what makes ir a solid all-day smoke that can be puffed without distraction. The chocolate note is very mild and serves to tame the burley and perique without completely squelching those leaf characteristics. I am an OJK, Pegasus, and Haunted Bookshop piper, so I am accustomed to a greater nic hit than I get from FUSTG, but I will order more as an occasional puff to break up the daily routine. Strongly recommend as an alternative to the standard codger fare.

Ask someone to blindfold you, spin you around, and pin a tail on any blend from WCC. You won’t be disappointed. I think this a marvelous burley. You will have a smooth and memorable smoke that checks the boxes all day long. Fire it up and get set to go!

Excellent Burley blend no bite good room note I can't get enough of this if your thinking of trying Burley or if you already are a Burley smoker and haven't tried this blend do yourself a favor give it a try you won't be sorry

Not what I was expecting, BUT!!, I love it. It’s very similar to C&D Pegasus, but with a pile of fallen fall leaves and the occasional wisp of dark chocolate and dark cherry. Reminds me of smoking Pegasus whilst strolling through the woods and taking a bite of chocolate covered cherries as a snack. Great stuff guys! Keep up the good work.

Perfect refined codger burley with sweet flavorful toppings that do not fully drown out the tobacco flavor. For my palette this is not a regular smoke as I generally prefer a tad bit fewer toppings I get a lot coming out of this (whiskey, molasses, chocolate?). It's delicious, but I lean more toward all day smokes and for me this is not that. But it's a very good treat every once in a while.

F.U.S.T.G. is up there with the very best Burley-heavy blends by the legendary Bob Runowski, and that’s about the highest compliment I can give. It’s earned a firm place in my rotation thanks to its fullness, smoothness, and strength. If this is the sort of thing we can expect from master blenders like Ernie, the post-Sutliff era doesn’t look so bleak anymore!

This blend is 100% not what I was expecting it to be. It is much more subtle than most other burleys. I detect less nuttiness & more earthiness. It's quite delicate & nuanced, with the toppings playing a very minor role. Beware though, it packs quite a surprising punch. The Perique is very much in the background, playing a supporting role. The Red VA is slightly more up-front, adding just a bit of their signature "tang". The burley is what stands out. I recommend.

This has been a very satisfying blend. Arrived ready to smoke at a perfect moisture level. Easy to keep lit and has smoked well in several different pipe shapes/sizes. Nice, chewy mouth feel from the thick smoke. Your typical burley blend flavors dominate with some cashew nuts and chocolate. The Virginia adds a nice bread note with a little pepper tingle on the retro from the perique. Medium in strength and body. Goes great with a creamed coffee.

This is a nice tobacco that I would recommend greatly. I did not experience any tougue burn. The tobacco is very silky to smoke.
