Peterson has Taken over the Dunhill Line of Tobaccos! A Mellow and delicately flavored smoking blend with Orient tobaccos and light and red Virginians. First pressed and the gently roasted with a small amount of Latakia. Medium cut English mixture.
This was the first English blend I tried, and I'm very, very fortunate that it is of such high quality. I think that one's tasting sequence early on can have a significant influence on the palate and being steered toward discounted or imitation blends is ultimately a dis-service. This classic blend has a smooth profile with a background of delicate "sour" creaminess that makes it perfect for the morning. It's actually quite good most times of day but not the big power one might look for in an evening smoke. Classic. Smooth. Exceptional.
