Sir William is a ready-rubbed loose cut of various selected Virginias for a round flavor. Fired Kentucky, cured Indian and aromatic Thai Burley are then added and finally a light whiskey aroma is added. (Editor's Note: This is quite reminiscent of Dutch Cavendish in the spirit of Sail Yellow or Stokkebye PS-1 Natural.)

Rattray's blends ate smooth balanced and deep. This is certainly true for Black Mallroy. I love the interplay between Latakua and the orientals.

A very good blend. The Latakia gives the smoke a full and spicy character. However, Cavendish and Orientals a smoothing the experience. I tasted hints of choclat, nutt, herbs and spice.
