Let me start by saying that this is the kind of tobacco blend that made me want to take up the pipe! The presentation is flawless. The aroma of this blend is wonderful and rich. It I I Has I great creamy smoke with a sweet nutty , earthy flavor. When sipped at this tobacco really shines and the flavor really comes out. Looking forward to trying the other blends!

Notes of dark chocolate pudding aNd a nice floral undertone. There are wonderful Smokey wood fire notes as well. This is a well balanced blend. It has a slight ashiness I am guessing is from the burley that went away after the first 1/3 of the bowl. At that point a sweet walnut back note came alive and it was AWSOME. I like this tobacco a lot

I have not gotten any blends from Watch City that I did not like and this is no exception. As far as an English goes this is a must to have on hand. I will be ordering more.

What can I say, I am enjoying my pipe time with this beautifully presented blend. As with other blends I have tried this burned to a fine ash all the way down. The flavors hit you like a nor'easter. Hands down the best English in my rotation.

Bloody wonderful blend for red-blooded American guys -- and gals. Full flavored "American" English. Quickly becoming a go-to in the rotation. Should be marvelous to smoke on a walk in the winter.

    Truly Excellent

I will say that I tend to steer clear of house blend tobaccos, as they always disappoint me. This is my first Watch City blend and oh man, it definitely doesn’t disappoint! This is an excellent English. It tastes way more premium than the price tag suggests. This is one of the best bulk flakes out there, no doubt. I don’t have an ultra refined palette, so I won’t try to make up 20 descriptors regarding taste. To me, it tastes an awful lot like Bengal Slices - and I consider that very high praise, indeed. My initial thought once the first bowl got going was if Bengal Slices and Plum Pudding had a baby, it might taste something like this. I’m obsessed with both of those premium tinned blends, but I find this an excellent facsimile. If both of those were unobtanium - this is what I would reach for. Seriously top notch flake. A+

    I like it!

I'm a newbie, see my profile. Consequently I'm still learning the vocabulary for describing tobacco tastes. At present I'm mostly inclined to be subjective. I like this ... a lot. Nutty and earthy seem descriptive, as does "dark" and tasty. Doesn't seem to bite. If you like burleys you will probably like this.
