Watch City's "Old Dominion" (Bulk by the Ounce)

This is my favorite VaPer. The flavor is sweet characterized by deep dark fruit with burst of citrisy tang, and in the background all the flavors are complemented by a subtle spice. The flavor profile reminds one of a fruity cabernet wine but with the subtle spice one tastes from a merlot wine. I know - I give to many analogies to wine. I have read that this has similarities to Sutliff VaPer crumble cake and in some ways that's true but Old Dominion is more refined, IMO. There is a tart sweetness with backnotes of Carmel (rich breadiness)which compliments the smoking experience. My tastes buds get tantalize by the spice and dark fruit notes which no doubt comes from the red virginias and perique. This blend I smoke over and over again and everytime it never disappoints. Moisture is slight and after gently crumbling it and leaving some chunks I let it dry for about 10 minutes letting it breath a bit - there I go again with wine analogies. It smokes cool and no bite and requires only some relights. But I prefer my tobacco with some moisture to accentuate the oils and flavor and do not care about relights. Great great smoke. Great great tobacco blend.

If you are a fan of Virginia Perique don’t sleep on this one. Very good and highly recommend!

This is a blend that I would cellar. There are a million Va/per blenda available but this one stands out to me over all of them. It's a good balance of Virginia to Perique, it's the perfect amount of sweet and has a pungent aroma and flavor. If you like Va/Pers I definitely recommend this blend.

For me, as a fan of VaPer blends, this is an exceptional and thought-provoking VaPer with a pleasant and well-balanced flavor. It has just the right amount of Perique, as many blends these days have too little of it, which doesn’t work for me. The rich, earthy, and citrusy flavors of bright and red Virginias blend beautifully with the spicy and slightly salty yet delightful taste of Perique, which remains present throughout the entire bowl. I’m glad I got it and tried it, as it has earned a place in my weekly rotation of VaPer blends. I’ve already ordered more.

I recently purchased OD and it has quickly become a favorite of mine. If you haven't tried it yet, don't, so I can buy it all.

Another hit outta the park! Lots of smoke plenty of flavor, bought a total of 8 oz. Keeping this one in my cellar.

If you like the genre, this is one of its giants. Raisins, dark, sweet Virginia tobacco, and dark stone fruit and brown sugar and it’s just delish.

Great Virginia. Smooth when fresh and even better with 5 years. One of the best around. Have about 10 lbs. In the cellar and 1 to smoke.

Fabulous stuff! Very similar to the upmarket VA-based blends from McClelland. 10/10!!
