Simply Orange Virginia was a limited blend made based upon the availability of the Orange Virginias. We have now secured a fairly consistent source for them and are ecstatic to add it to our regular menu. We may sell out from time to time, but it will be back shortly.

THIS IS NOT AN AROMATIC- Here the "Orange" refers to the color of the Virginia Tobacco used. Orange Virginia ribbon is Bulked and aged at 115 Deg F for weeks in 55 Gallon Drums. During this time natural elements that cause bitterness and harshness are released leaving a very mild, mellow, slightly sweet Vrginia which still retains a bit of the "Tangy Sparkle" of our simply Red. A great introduction to the stonger tangier reds and a wonderful first smoke of the day.

    Excellent experience with this blend of different Virginia tobaccos. I love the flavors of true tobacco taste coming through. Smoking it slow, to not overheat the tobacco, you will have a pleasant smoking experience with true Virginian flavor. I will not give you a bunch of word salad thoughts. Great smoke for beginners to get the flavor of a Virginia blend of tobacco. Very nice smoke for me.

    Blown away at how deeply flavorful this “simple” blend is. Deep, rich buttered bread with a touch of apricot marmalade is what this reminds me of. This is a new favorite for me. Absolutely one of the best 3 straight VA I’ve ever smoked. VERY well done, Ernie.

    Pure n simple flavor. I don't enjoy blends that have a lot of aftertaste as much. This is simply fantastic

    Simply Orange isn't simple

    I ordered the Virginia sampler. I rank Simply Orange on top of the list in my sampler. But it's not so simple. Lots of spice, sweetness, citrus, bread notes, some creaminess, and its all at a medium flavor profile. But you cant hot box it or it will tear a chunk off your tongue. My only issue is the vinegar note in the bag, but it doesn't transfer over to the flavor at least. When it comes to Virginia's specifically, I am very picky. I was a long time McClelland consumer. Specifically virginia #27 and 5100. While Simply Orange is not a match, it does ring a bell with some of McClellands flavors. I'm pretty sure with some age, Simply Orange definitely give other Virginia's a run for their money.

    Having stored Simply Orange for just over a year in a jar and revisited, I have to report that this Virginia blend is simply delicious. Mild to medium zesty orange Virginias now presenting in a mellifluous harmony of delight. A perfect start to a Virgina lover’s day.
