Watch City's "The Churchwarden" (Bulk by the Ounce)

24June24 The initial nose was of very smoky Latakia. It was not a strong odor. There was just enough aroma from the Latakia to peek my interest. I did find this tobacco to be very dry. It was brittle and fell apart quickly but some of it was still compacted I'm still hoping this is going to be a really good smoke. I am going to fill my full bent morta and go outside. This is a strong blend. No denying this at all. The flavors are very Latakia heavy and if smoked hard you get a big nicotine hit. I find this hard to hang with. I smoked two bowls today, one this morning and one this evening. I have had enough for today Addition to the cellar is not a consideration.

Heaven on earth. Really fantastic smoke. Smooth, flavor is awesome. Love this back! My new fave.

This Tobacco is smoky and earthy up front. It also has floral notes and a green vegetal flavor that is very pleasant. It is rounded off by dried fruits such as blueberry, sour cherry, and fig. It smokes well to the bottom of the bowl and is a real treat if you like a tobacco on the medium to full side.

This reminds me of a better version of Bengal Slices. A very complex cake that is savory and sweet and burns well.

Absolutely delicious!

This is big, dark, oily and creamy. I suspect the cigar leaf in combination with the Latakia is responsible for that, though I don't really taste the cigar leaf. There are flavors that are similar to the char flavor you get on a great burger cooked over a flame if that makes any sense. I also get hints of licorice towards the middle and end of the bowl. It's a bit unique. I like it quite a bit. I'd say 4.5 stars, but since that's not available, I'll round up for the great crumble cake format and bulk pricing/availability. Recommended for fans of: Full-flavored latakia blends. If your tastes tend towards more restrained and civilized English blends, you may not like it. If you enjoy full English/Balkan blends like some of the C&D latakia-heavy mixtures, you will likely appreciate this. Suitable for anyone who thinks they'd like a tobacco as described, rookie or veteran. Strength wise, this is full-flavored. I don't detect a heavy nicotine presence, though, and is likely medium or milder. on that front.
