Description

Originally released as part of our Micro-Batch project, Glass Slipper is available now for a limited time in bulk format. We have acquired the last of a vintage 1990's crop Tukish leaf and will continue to produce Glass Slipper until that leaf runs out. We can't say how long that will be but if we had to hazard a guess we'd say maybe a year. Initial batch may sell out, but more will be made available within 4 weeks.

What started as a request from a customer for our "Persian Slipper" without Latakia became this truly unique, smooth and delicious "Oriental Cavendish" blend. It's got everything that Persian Slipper has except we removed the Latakia, tweaked the proportions slightly and added a measure of rich Stoved Virginia as well as using our stash of vintage 1990's crop Turkish in place of the standard blended ribbon used in Persian. Notes of Cocoa, Fig and Plum come and go as you smoke this smooth yet complex blend!

A complete sleeper from a great blender. Since I don't like latakia so this is a huge win for me. The stoved virginias are awesome.

One of Ernie Q's wonderful blends. bag note is sweet/spicy . Medium ribbon cut perfect moisture. From what I understand this is a limited run. This is defiantly one of my desert island blends. Its quite complex but super smooth at the same time. Lots of nice nuttiness and coco from the Burley, sweetness from the Cavendish, some lite citrus from the Virginias , and spice from the perique. I think the Vanilla is from the Turkish. All real tobacco flavors. Easily an all day smoke nic hit is mild to medium. I bought in bulk once this is gone that will be the last of it . 5 stars highly recommended

I enjoy Persian Slipper and one of our Thursday Pipe Club gave me a bowl of Glass Slipper and I immediately ordered 4oz. GS is sweet, smooth and delicious. It has now joined my WC favorites including: Persian Slipper, Nor'ester, Rhythm & Blues and Rourgaroux. Thanks Ernie!

A real favorite of mine. The well aged orientals give this blend a nice, smooth and unique flavor that this non-aromatic fan really enjoys.

Sweet, oriental sour, chocolate-cocoa note that burns great, voluminous smoke. Not necessarily an all day smoke, but I find that it’s satisfying towards the end of the day when you have time to just slowly sip and enjoy it.

I am a fan of Persian Slipper. Glass Slipper on its' own is awe sweet for but lately my go to homemade blend is Glass Slipper mixed in with H&H Old Dark Fired. Doesn't get old for me...pardon...

Excellent blend! The vintage Turkish leaf really shines. This stuff is the definition of "You're gonna miss me when I'm gone!"
