Watch City's American Cut Plug Mixture (Bulk by the Ounce)

This has to be the best pipe tobacco I’ve ever had. Instant classic.

Was really excited to try this one and it did not disappoint. Just a good straight up burley blend with no topping, flavoring, etc. Just good quality burley tobacco. Delicious all day smoker. Great blend !

This blend is a great Burley &Virginia combination with hints of sweetness. The burley gives it a delightful nutty flavor and it’s mellow. The blend does not have a heavy nicotine hit. Very pleasant tobacco to smoke and I look forward to purchasing more in the near future.

Smoked straight out of the sealed pouch it was shipped in I found this blend to be pungent, if not acrid. It was definitely not as described or reviewed by others. So I transferred it to a glass storage container and let it sit for about a month. What a profound difference that made! Absolutely wonderful smoke! I don’t think it was a moisture issue. Like a bottle of wine uncorked and allowed to breathe. I searched the internet and found discussions going back about 20 years. At my advanced age cellaring the mixture for years on end is not practical and I am not sure is necessary. So I give this mixture the highest marks and consider it to be my favorite Watch City blend. Ernie, what is your take on allowing the mixture to breathe?.

Just had a small sample bowl in my meerschaum pipe that I use for tasting new blends. With having only this small bowl I think I can safely say that this is going to be one of my favorite Burley blends. I can see what everyone is saying its a codger blend. I can see this being a good all day smoke. Looking forward to having a bowl in one of my corn cob pipes. If you like Burley and like old school tobacco you owe it yourself to get some of this. I don't think you will regret it.

I don’t do product reviews but I had to share one on this one. It has quickly become my number one. I’m not a professional at giving all the different flavors, but this is a very high quality tobacco that tastes amazing, has no bite and burns cool. This one fits me perfectly for my everyday anytime of the day smoke.

Smoked in both cob and briar with no preference. This is a superior product to the Codger offerings from back in the day. Its body is more robust and the flavor profile has greater depth. The primary characteristics it has in common with the Codgers are it basically smokes itself and is equally suited for all experience levels. Easily recommendable as a stand alone; however, it also possesses characteristics well suited for blending - Win/win.

This one took a few bowl to really discover the flavor, as it's fairly subtle. But once I did, whooo-eeee, it's delicious. Medium bodied, without much of a topping I can discern, it's got a wonderful nutty flavor. It lights easily, burns perfectly & tastes amazing. It's like an old-fashioned codger blend, with the extra moisture & artificial topping removed. This is pretty much the perfect all-day blend.

A mildly sweet bag note, nice chunky mix of tobacco, lot of Burley with a dash of red Virginia. Up front it has a lite cocoa note and slight anise spice in the back with a nice Virginia tang to finish. This is not a goopy aromatic, the flavors are just there and tastefully done. A very comfortable, easy going all day, everyday smoke.
